Renapur Leather Balsam is a walker’s favourite. Once applied, it allows the leather to breathe naturally therefore won’t harm the effectiveness of the Gore-Tex.

Unfortunately, Renapur Leather Balsam is not generally suitable for items with a ‘patent’ finish as it does not allow the Balsam to soak into the leather.

Can Renapur Leather Balsam be used on Suede & Nubuck?

Renapur Leather Balsam can be used on Suede & Nubuck, but they will most likely darken the colour of your item. Only do this if you item is very worn and you are happy with it being in better condition but permanently darker.

Can Renapur Leather Balsam be used on Aniline Leathers?

We wouldn't recommend using Leather Balsam on Aniline leathers, it will likely darken and change the look of your item.

Can Renapur Leather Balsam be used on distressed leather?

Unless your product is very old or worn we would not recommend using Renapur on distressed leather, it is highly likely to remove the distressed look and change your item to a darker smooth looking product.

I have used Renapur Leather Balsam and it has left the item greasy, what do I do?

It is likely you have used more Leather Balsam than was required, one of the great benefits of Renapur Leather Balsam is you only require a small amount. Wipe off the excess with a clean dry cloth and your item should end up looking great.
